I am Melissa. My life is like a mixed tape. When you listen to one you never know what music will pop up. I am a cross between Rosalind Russell's character Auntie Mame, a girl scout and Paula Deen. I am also the proud wife of a soldier (23 years) and the Commander in Chief of our house. I have a huge soft spot for the military in my heart. I love God and I enjoy cooking (not the cleaning) ,reading, photography, long weekend travels ,dishes and history. I have learned the journey is where the fun is and you have to have faith. My family is like most, a cast of characters. I have two wonderful step children, a kooky singing husband, a brown lab . I have also found that sometimes you need to stop and smell the coffee in life. So go ahead make yourself a pot, stop by a coffee bar or simply go to the grocery store head down that coffee aisle and just breathe. I look forward to meeting everyone.
